"I HATE MY COLLECTION": Saint Martins unveiled

Updates from Saint Martins male toilet

The name of this blog and possibly the film is inspired by a graffiti in one of Saint Martins toilets from about ten years ago.

Today I went to the college to do some research on Stephen Jones, who we are interviewing tomorrow, and also have a look at male toilet on the ground floor, and I thought I would take some pictures of the graffitis that are currently there and will shortly be removed…

Interviewing students …

There are so many extraordinary people who went to Saint Martins and who are studying there at the moment. Due to time limits of my film I can not show all of them but what I can do is use this blog as an addition to the film, as a kind of platform where Saint Martins students can talk about their work, their Saint Martins experiences….

Its been almost two weeks since the Central Saint Martins BA show, lots of magazines , newspapers , blogs wrote about it. One can easily find all the pictures from the press show. But none really knows what was behind the collections, all the research, efforts, stress and pressure so I have decided to talk to them and find out ! Besides as you may know not all of the students get to show the collections to the press( not because they are less talented, definitely not, none really knows the secret of the selection), so this will be a unique opportunity to see their collections online.

So I have asked few freshly graduate BA students give me an interview, show me photos of their work and some pages from sketchbooks, its all very excitng. All of these interviews will shortly appear on the blog. I hope you enjoy it !
