"I HATE MY COLLECTION": Saint Martins unveiled
Summer 2011. The new chapter of Central Saint Martins history starts. The historic and important college will move from its Soho site and join other branches of Central Saint Martins in a new purpose-built development in King’s Cross.
As it is the end of an era for this legendary institution, I have found it meaningful to make a documentary film about the art college and the old St Martins school building on Charing Cross Road.

” Not so central Saint Martin’s ” was a name of today’s Evening Standard’s feature about the official press opening of the new Saint Martin’s home at King’s cross ( oddly enough not even all members of stuff were invited to that one). I would like to add not so Saint Martin’s either. It is now ruled by graphic designers, animators and god knows who else while fashion is slowly dying somewhere at the corner.
Fashion people at Saint Martins you will have to make an extra effort. And please stop saying ” i don’t like fashion” It was OK at Charing Cross, because there was a lot of it, now it’s just a betrayal.

Manolo Blahnik interview
It’s been a while since the last update, we were busy making a trailer, teaser rather and it’s almost done, in fact hopefully in a week it will completely finished.
Today we went to see Manolo Blahnik, unconventional, eccentric and very theatrical, rolling his eyes like a silver screen diva he talked to us about Russian Munks( who according to him are ” the most elegant people in Europe”), his mentor Diana Vreeland and her obsession with rouge, past and present of British fashion and of course Saint Martins. You will see bits of it in the teaser and for now I will upload few pictures.
