More CHX graffiti
Fashion journalism, MA student Sue-Wen kindly sent me few pictures ( that were published before on http://theroom406.blogspot.com) of the graffitis in good old Saint Martin’s toilet in Charing Cross road. Even toilets in the new building are just not the same…
If anyone has any more graffiti from CHX do email me.

King's cross anti-party
” Not so central Saint Martin’s ” was a name of today’s Evening Standard’s feature about the official press opening of the new Saint Martin’s home at King’s cross ( oddly enough not even all members of stuff were invited to that one). I would like to add not so Saint Martin’s either. It is now ruled by graphic designers, animators and god knows who...

Who hates their collection ?
The idea of the documentary’s title : ’ i hate my collection’ comes from a graffiti, from about 12 years ago, found in Saint Martin’s old buidling on Charing Cross road by Judith, probably in a toilet, that’s where all the graffiti used to be, well at least all the good once.
For the past yeah and a half, actually almost two years I was trying to find someone...

It’s been a while since the last update, we were busy making a trailer, teaser rather and it’s almost done, in fact hopefully in a week it will completely finished.
Today we went to see Manolo Blahnik, unconventional, eccentric and very theatrical, rolling his eyes like a silver screen diva he talked to us about Russian Munks( who according to him are ” the most elegant...

joannadance-deactivated20110115 asked: Hi , hope you are well. I just saw the post below from 'Anonymous' and I had a very similar question for you - how strange! Not that you haven't helped me enough, but I just wondered if you knew anybody doing the PGCert in Fashion Journalism? I am only in my 3rd year of my English degree but was hoping to get out of here by next year - I know for the MA you need an honours degree....
Anonymous asked: do you have any advice for someone applying to CSM for MA Fashion Journalism? For example, how may I 'wow' them into granting me a place? I want to show my creative & academic abilities to them. Thank you, I like your blog very much.

interviewing Katharine Hamnett
I am very excited as we are about to interview Katharine Hamnett next Tuesday, one of the first and biggest success of Saint Martins. She was at Saint Martins from 1965-1969 A very exciting time… I guess student life wasn’t only extraordinary in Paris in 1968, lets see what she will say about being student in London in the late 60s.
I am preparing the questions at the moment as...

At the moment I am working on the structure of the film and planing future interviews. But its been so long since I have started working on this project and I no longer understand what is interesting and what is not.
